Money in Action is an Economic and Management Sciences (EMS) resource that is currently being used by teachers throughout South Africa.  With the implantation of the Curriculum Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS), the resource had to be revised. The revision was undertaken by the FSB in close consultation with Department of Basic Education (DBE). The project was co-funded by both the Short Term Insurance Association (SAIA) and the FSCE. The revised booklet was work-shopped with provincial officials from the DBE during their CAPS orientation. There were 8 workshops held around the country where FSB staff orientated attendees on how to use the resource. This was followed by the distribution of 54 000 copies of the booklet to schools country-wide.
