​In terms of the Financial Sector Regulation Act No. 9 of 2017, the FSCA is mandated to provide financial education initiatives aimed at improving the financial literacy of South Africans. In support of these initiatives, the FSCA distributes a variety of printed resources to financial customers, nationwide.

In an effort to ensure that the FSCA's consumer education content is inclusive, the FSCA has translated 15 of its resources from English into 10 official languages.
